So why am I going to India?
I will be going to India under a program called Child Family Health International. CFHI is an organization who places health science students on global health education programs. The reason why I choose India is because they offer a rotational program where I could pick from 5 different rotations. The first rotation that I will be doing is based in Delhi, where I will be doing the public health and community medicine rotation. I will spend about three weeks in Delhi. Then for one week, I will travel to Jaipur. For the second half of the program I will be in Pune doing the child and maternal health rotation. Pune is located southeast of Mumbai. My goal from doing this program is to figure out what career to pursue. I am really interested in both public health and child and maternal health so hopefully after this program I will be able to choose one!
